Year 10 STEM excursion Luna Park

Organisation for the day:

• Normal Homeroom and Period 1 as usual. Please ensure you bring the required equipment for these periods.
• Period 2 - All Year 10 students to meet at the front quad.
  • Students going to LUNA PARK will have their uniform checked, roll marked and will board 1 of 2 buses at 9.45am.
  • Students remaining at school will be spilt into classes for the remainder of the day to complete science work related to the motion of rollercoasters. You will not be following your normal timetable for Periods 2 - 5. An adjusted timetable will be issued for the day during this time.
• Departure time from school: 9.45 am
• Arrival time at Luna Park: approximately 10.45 am
• Departure time from Luna Park: 3 pm
• Arrival time at school: approximately 4 - 4.30 pm

For those going to Luna Park:

• Make sure you bring your recess and lunch or money to purchase food at Luna Park. Remember the food is expensive there.
• You must be in FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM. This includes: Navy blue / JHS jumpers - no other colour / White socks, not black / No tracksuit pants / Enclosed shoes - joggers will be accepted for comfort. You may wear your sports uniform for comfort on the rides, however, it must be proper JHS shorts and shirt. No black / footy shorts or tights.
• IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CORRECT SCHOOL UNIFORM YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE EXCURSION.
• Your behaviour needs to be perfect - or you will be removed from the venue and made to sit with the teachers for the rest of the day.
• You must bring a pen! A work booklet will be issued and MUST be completed and handed in at the end of the day to your roll teacher - very important! If incomplete, will need to be finished at lunch.
• You stay on the same BUS for trip IN and RETURN trip home. Back at school at approx. 4 - 4.30pm.
