Our extra-curricular highlights
Basketball Team
Congratulations to the Jamison High Boys Under 15s Basketball Team for their strong effort at the NSW State Championship, where they competed fiercely against tough schools including Smiths Hill, Terrigal, Endeavouur, and Blaxland. Although they didn’t secure a win, their determination and contribution have enriched the school’s basketball culture. This concludes Jamison’s competitive basketball for the year, with high hopes for both Boys and Girls teams returning next year.
Creative and performing arts
We are excited to announce our upcoming 'Showcase' performance, featuring the incredible talents of our students from the CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) department. This event will highlight a diverse range of artistic expressions, including music, dance, drama, and visual arts, demonstrating the hard work, creativity, and passion of our students. It promises to be a captivating celebration of their skills and dedication, offering a wonderful opportunity for the school community to come together and support the vibrant arts culture at our school. We look forward to seeing everyone there for an unforgettable evening of creativity and inspiration.
Luke Mangan Visit
On Friday 13 June 2025, Jamison High School hosted celebrity chef Luke Mangan and the TODAY show who filmed our hospitality students in action in our school based kitchen. The filming was part of an initiative program started with Neil Perry, Luke Mangan and Richard Branson about 10 years ago to develop hospitality industry talent and showcase opportunities. This visit followed from the hospitality careers excursion at Kingswood TAFE.
