Human Society and its Environment is the study of how humans interact with the world, how society operates and how it is changing. Through the study of Social Science courses, students develop the skills to prepare them to actively and responsibly participate as informed citizens in the contemporary world.
The philosophy of the Social Science faculty at Jamison High School is to successfully create a link between the theory studied in the classroom and its practical application in the outside world. We do this through our geography, commerce, work education, business studies, legal studies and economics courses.
We would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land, the Mulgoa people, and pay our respects to the Elders of the Dharug nation - past, present and emerging. We would also like to extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders visiting this site.
