Cross Country

The countdown is officially on! Jamison High School's Annual Cross Country Carnival will be held on March Wednesday 17/3/21. Now is the time to start training and preparing for the big day!

Every participant will earn points for their house.

It is a normal school day, which means if you are away you will need to provide a note to your mentor teacher upon return.

Organisation for the day:

Period 1 - Normal classes. Students are expected to bring their books and necessary equipment for this lesson.

Period 2 - Harmony Week Assembly (20 minutes)

Period 3 - Combined recess and lunch (1 hour)

11.00am to the end of the school day - There will be a quick meeting and then students and teachers will walk over to Southlands Oval in their year groups.

Maps of the track have been put up around the school. Please ensure you check these prior to Wednesday so you know exactly what course you should be running (Note: it is the age that you are turning this year).

Uniform

Any student who has the FULL school PE uniform is able to wear that to school for the day. All other students must be in full school uniform and then change during the combined recess/lunch break into appropriate gear or house colours for the carnival.

Make sure you bring sunscreen, a hat and plenty of water. We will be selling sausage sandwiches and drinks (price TBC) so makes sure you bring cash if you plan to purchase any of these items.
