A Message to our School Community about the full return to face-to-face teaching from
Monday May 25
Dear Parent and Carers
With the announcement from the Premier and Minister of Education this week that schools will return to full face-to-face teaching from Monday May 25, we have been preparing all week to accommodate students.
Please read the letter attached for an outline of our procedures for the following:
- Outline of our phrased return so far and transition into fulltime face-to-face teaching next week
- Sickness and students presenting symptoms of illness
- Arriving at school in the morning
- BYOD and face to face teaching
- Playground areas
- Students entering Southlands
- Movement around the school and bell times
- Bus travel to and from school
- Water bottles
- Canteen
- Uniform Shop
- Enhanced Cleaning
- Mobile phones
- Attendance
The path into remote learning was challenging, but we achieved it. The movement back to full face-to-face teaching and learning is timely. It will have its own challenges. Hopefully you are reassured by the steps we are taking at the school and we look forward to welcoming your child on Monday.
If you would like to discuss any of the content of this letter or have further questions, please contact the school by phone.
Yours Sincerely
Glyn Trethewy
Principal
Jamison High School
