Towards the end of Term 1, Year 11 and 12 Visual Arts students were taken on an excursion to the Art Gallery of NSW in Sydney, to view the Art Express exhibition.
Art Express is an annual exhibition featuring a selection of outstanding student artworks from the previous year's HSC major works, developed for the artmaking component of the HSC examination in Visual Arts in NSW.
Attending the exhibition is a great opportunity and experience for our students as they are exposed to examples of the highest quality works in the state, often coming back to school inspired and with new ideas to enhance their own Visual Arts major works.
Our students were well behaved and conducted themselves in a respectful manner when inside the gallery. Everyone had a great time!
